MYSA is very excited to announce Kayla Hodges will be joining the Coaching Staff. Kayla joins us after an extensive playing career at some of the highest levels in the country. She played youth soccer in this area, coached by our current Executive Director, Taylor Saxe. Hodges went on to play collegiately at Elon University as a 4-year starter. After graduating from Elon, she played for VCU where she earned her Master’s Degree, and started her coaching career in the youth soccer world with the Richmond United Youth Club. 

“Kayla is one of the hardest workers I have ever been around. Her career is a perfect example of a local homegrown player who put in the work, dedicating and committing to playing at some of the highest levels in the country. She brings extensive knowledge and experience to the youth game.  I am excited to have her join the coaching staff!”, says MYSA Executive Director about Kayla.

Kayla holds her grassroots license and is currently working on her USSF D License. She will coach multiple teams within the club. Please welcome Kayla when you see her on the fields!
